Plus de 450 clichés inédits, principalement fixés par des soldats allemands de passage ou en garnison en ville illustrent bon nombre de moments de cette période fort éprouvante pour les Bruxellois, entre 1940 et 1944.

Unlike anything that has been published so far about Brussels during the Nazi occupation, this photographic album offers a new vision of the four years of the Second World War. More than 450 unpublished photographs, mainly taken by German soldiers passing through or garrisoned in the city, illustrate many moments of the very trying period for the inhabitants of Brussels, between 1940 and 1944.
