The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an electronic warfare jet that was derived from the A-6 Intruder and was introduced in the US Navy in 1971. Its missions included jamming or destroying enemy radar systems and gathering intelligence on communications and warning systems. The 4-seat aircraft remained in service nearly 50 years until it was withdrawn in 2019, which makes for a very impressive career for an aircraft of which only 170 were built. The Prowler is a truly great looking aircraft and we hope that this photographic portrait will do it honor. Enjoy!
