For nearly 50 years, After the Battle has been presenting the history of the world's conflicts through 'then and now' comparison photographs.

Our former quarterly publication, After the Battle magazine, concentrated mainly on the Second World War, the comparison photographs adding a new dimension to recent history. As well as major battles, local actions are explored and other features include the recovery of aircraft and vehicles on land and sea, the making of war films and the preservation of military artefacts.

The last issue of After the Battle magazine (issue 195) was published in May 2022.

Depuis près de 50 ans, After the Battle présente l'histoire des conflits mondiaux à travers des photographies comparatives « avant et après ».

Notre ancienne publication trimestrielle, le magazine After the Battle, se concentrait principalement sur la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les photographies comparatives ajoutant une nouvelle dimension à l'histoire récente. Outre les grandes batailles, le magazine explore également les actions locales et traite d'autres sujets tels que la récupération d'avions et de véhicules sur terre et en mer, la réalisation de films de guerre et la préservation d'artefacts militaires.

Le dernier numéro du magazine After the Battle (numéro 195) a été publié en mai 2022.
