For nearly 50 years, After the Battle has been presenting the history of the world's conflicts through 'then and now' comparison photographs.

Our former quarterly publication, After the Battle magazine, concentrated mainly on the Second World War, the comparison photographs adding a new dimension to recent history. As well as major battles, local actions are explored and other features include the recovery of aircraft and vehicles on land and sea, the making of war films and the preservation of military artefacts.

The last issue of After the Battle magazine (issue 195) was published in May 2022.

Seit fast 50 Jahren präsentiert After the Battle die Geschichte der Konflikte weltweit anhand von Vergleichsfotos aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart.

Unsere ehemalige vierteljährlich erscheinende Publikation, das Magazin After the Battle, konzentrierte sich hauptsächlich auf den Zweiten Weltkrieg, wobei die Vergleichsfotos der jüngeren Geschichte eine neue Dimension verliehen. Neben großen Schlachten werden auch lokale Aktionen beleuchtet. Weitere Themen sind die Bergung von Flugzeugen und Fahrzeugen zu Land und zu Wasser, die Entstehung von Kriegsfilmen und die Erhaltung militärischer Artefakte.

Die letzte Ausgabe des Magazins After the Battle (Ausgabe 195) erschien im Mai 2022.
