The Triumph of Maximilian I reproduces the complete series of 137 woodcuts designed primarily by Hans Burgkmair, with contributions from Albrecht Altdorfer and others, originally commissioned to celebrate the reign and imperial power of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I (1459-1519).
