A Kriegsmarine destroyer launched in Bremen on 15 May 1941, the Z31 entered service in March 1942. She served in the Norwegian and Baltic Seas. At the end of the war, she was captured in May 1945 and awarded to Great Britain in December. As war damage, Great Britain retroceded her to France. Renamed MARCEAU in February 1946, she was recommissioned as an escort in the French Navy under hull number D601. The MARCEAU is offered in this boxed set in her 1947 configuration.
