The Ju 87 dive bomber is one of the most recognizable aircraft of the Second World War. The characteristic feature of this machine are the wings in the configuration of the letter "W", which is perfectly reflected in our block model! The plane was first flown in 1935, but it was first used for combat in 1938 during the Spanish Civil War. In German propaganda, the Junkers became a symbol of Luftwaffe power. The machine was successfully used during the battles fought in Poland, Scandinavia, France, Crete and during Operation Barbarossa. JU 87 in the B-2 version was intended for tasks performed in Africa. The block model developed in 1:32 scale consists of 525 elements and is enhanced by realistic tropical camouflage and prints.
The plane has a moving propeller and ailerons and rotating wheels with rubber tires. The cockpit can be opened to seat the carefully designed pilot and gunner/radio operator figures at the controls. When built the plane is 34.5cm long. The set also includes a special stand with a transparent pin, with which you can display the plane "in flight". The set is also complemented by a plate with the name of the plane. The JU 87 B-2 in tropical camouflage is a perfect addition to the WWII aircraft collection!
